The children's book "Pretty Sad" is a story about two children of kindergarten and primary school age who witness the death of their small, beloved pets Hercules (guinea pig) and Yoda (rabbit).
That can be pretty sad.
What happens when someone dies? What exactly is sadness? How do children feel about this?
